that will allow us bypass walking to and from the forest.
You need an automated bean/fern/huckleberry and wood harvester and a conveyor belt all the way back to base.

I call this one "Dirt block with stone face and sunrays."
I'm just posting it because it looks pretty. As rentechd said, it may already be fixed in 5.6...
WHAT !?!?!?! Eco doesn't test this in 5.5.4? LOL, I've gone to some lengths to satisfy these requirements and still make nice work rooms. Had no idea it wasn't being enforced :) Funny!
I know we have windmill and water wheel but those are small in comparison to what is being used in the real world today.
Also, I think the wooden windmill and waterwheel are generating -mechanical- energy, and you're probably thinking electricity. An update for the electrical era would be nice!
That might be fun. In the context of a 30 day game, they would have to be pretty short. Maybe 2 days per season? That would make a week in our time be nearly a year in game time. Four-ish years in a standard game. It might be kind of hard on the gameplay though, making harvest time for some crops come only once every eight days. Better build a silo for all the wheat and corn!
Topic says it. I love how you can follow a recipe back to its ingredients, and then to the factory that makes the ingredient, to the skill or skillbook that unlocks the factory, etc, etc. I have never seen anything like this before in tooltips and wanted to point out how nice it is.
I'm still new, so there might be a better way. Put all your deeds into storage. Now go claim a plot. That should create a new deed. Then you can open the new deed and go stand on the plots that you want to pull off the old deed. The deed has a button called 'attach current plot'. Use that on the plots you want to move. I hope this helps!
There are lots of fun graphical glitches. Most seem to fix themselves given time. In the image below, the dark window-like object is actually a lumber wall section. It changed appearance when I dropped the real window in.
@rentechd You mentioned in another thread that it was necessary to use admin tools to spawn one of the skill books. Would spawning in the correct books help Julia's situation? Maybe not, on a populated server the skill books will exist, but she won't have the skill points to use them. Could one possibly mod a super-food to catch up with? If so, that would solve the skill point problem without having to figure out how to transfer character data. Don't know which is harder really, just thinking out loud, I guess :)
