animals and plants won't spawn on super-small world

  • I've tried to make a 1km world, and it's generating fine... except that it is always missing 25%+ of it's ecosystem. Would decreasing the animal/plant spawn rates help? This last world I generated has no tortoise, elk, wheat, bulbs ect.

An immediate workaround is to just spawn in the missing animals/plants.

What version of Eco are you running?

  • using 7.3.3. I've tried /regenlayer and it doesn't seem to work. /noah did nothing and /allplants didn't either.

  • I'm not sure. The size of the planet may very well be the problem so trying to decrease the spawn rates could help.

Also, have you tried spawning one particular animal or plant?

    /spawnanimal (species),(count) Spawns a number of animals /spawnanimal
    /spawnanimal Wolf
    /spawnanimal Elk,10

/spawnplant (species),(count) Spawns a plant or plants in a row with increasing ages /spawnplant
    /spawnplant Tomato
    /spawnplant Beet,10
