Animals dying on chunk load..
So this world has been going for awhile...and now wherever I go...whether there's development or not...and there's not much development on the planet...all animals except birds instantly die when their chunk loads, I watch their death animations...bug?

dont think they die .. think they have been dead from before .. think they load and then go into there dead state =) ?
that makes more sense, though the animation for death playing is probably something that should be avoided...otherwise I spread death by walking lol
More importantly, every animal on my planet is dead on the client, but the population according to the server is different...though merely a few hundred animals of each at the moment.

Yeah I believe dead animals play their death animation on load for some reason. It's a known issue.
Well apparently as a single person operating over a very small area I've depopulated all animals on this entire planet...I think that needs some balancing...

I wonder if it has to do with the fact the server has nothing labelled as edible. All the plants/animals "edible" categories is 0.
