I am a Dev Tier backer, not a SLG employee. Pretend I know nothing.
@rockie2085 Being elected allows you to use the Treasury (a server global taxation system)
You can tax any table with items/resources on a per hour basis.
Example: I've taxed Bloomery to 1 Iron Ore per hour, meaning any operation taken by a user on the server cost 1 Iron Ore per hour.
If they run small jobs minimum pay of 1 Iron Ore is required.
Assume I taxed 60 Iron Ore per 1h (in short for every minute a job is run it would cost them 1 Iron Ore) (this would be insane but a great example)
If somebody runs a 30m job they need to pay 30 Iron Ore.
If somebody runs a job for 1m = 1 Iron Ore, 10m = 10 Iron Ore etc.
Essentially for every portion of the 1h frame based on what the main taxation is it will require you to pay the time spend in tax.
The resources a user pays in tax automatically lands in the Treasury Table for the leader to use.
Lifts would be nice for the future.
One of our users has a half way solution. He build a 3x2 drop shaft for carts to the lowest level of his mine.
And has a ramp system the goes back up. He drives his cart it the drop shaft, falls all the way down with the cart, fills it and brings it up his ramps.
We tried powering our Factory with a single gen and that doesn't seem to work, or it doesnt work well.
We setup (1 Comb + 1 Elec gen) and 2 Induction Gens (work much better) just fuel them and they create Electricity directly without having to filter through Comb Gen -> Elec Gen)
To get the factory running we ran all three at the same time. The yellow lines you see on the power grid for Power Sources will turn green when they are running (yellow seems like idle status)
Th Factory requires 2.5k, each gen makes 1k, which made us assume you need to run 3 at the same time.
Remember to run them with Petroleum or Gasoline, we've found that Gasoline works best and might also be bugged.
After a single consumption of gasoline the Induction stopped consuming gasoline....not sure if but yet.
Hope this helps.
FYI: Dont get a truck! Its a chest model, you cannot move and it does nothing :)
PudgeWiggle, have you placed any skillpoints into cooking on your Tech Tree?
Looking at the code for SkillLevel, it looks like if there are no points placed in the skilltree it returns -2 as a default value.
If you place a skill point into cooking you should get rid of your issue. Hope this works.
