Wooden Cart Bugs 4.1

    1. This happens when you are driving a wood cart across an equator (where either x or y go from max coordinate to 0). What happens is that the cart freezes, the screen turns completely blank, and you cannot move. Everyone I have played with is easily able to duplicate this bug by simply driving a cart across the line.
More Info: You are able to enter/exit the cart when frozen, but you cannot move.
Workarounds: making the cart bob or nudging it past the line
    2. When driving down ramps backwards, it becomes impossible to stop the wood cart until it crashes into something. This also includes carts which have momentum from bobbing or jumping.
Both of these cases have been reproduced while the former is very easy to reproduce by just going down a ramp backwards, the latter only happens on rare occasions.
Workarounds:creating walls at the ends of ramps to stop or having a person stand in the way of the cart. Also, the cart can sometimes be caught by the player and stopped easily.

  • For number 2, did you keep a movement key pressed? I've observed that when changing directions on ramps (forwards to backwards or vice-versa) the game gets mixed up and accelerates you the wrong way. The work around is to let go of all keys and let yourself come to a stop before moving again.

    Additional cart issues:

    1. The cart sometimes bounces really hard and goes flying when exiting.

    2. Player falls through the world when exiting the cart near a cavern wall.
