Issue with graphics (they don't generate)
Hello, I just bought and downloaded the game. I set up my local server on my machine. When I start the game, this is what I see:
How can I fix this? I have Nvidia GTX 770M. Drivers up to date.
Any help would be appreciated. If I don't figure it out I guess im out $40 :/ I tried windowed mode, full screen, changing graphics settings doesnt change anything either.
Also same thing happens when I log into other servers.
The world needs some time to generate, about a minute or so. Did you wait for that to finish before logging in? Though this shouldn't happen if you are connected to a more established server.
Hi. I loaded it up and waited several minutes. Looks the same - nothing generated. This is after 5 minutes of letting game run in background. I am connecting to localhost. The same issue happened when i logged into another server.
Can you try downloading this test alpha-4 version
and connecting to
(NOTE: This test version is broken in many new and creative different ways, just wanting to see if your issue has already been fixed)
I downloaded the version you posted and it has worked! Here's a proof screenshot:
Well, if you can handle waiting another few weeks for alpha 4, then problem solved!
Another thing you can try is deleting your Server/Storage folder completely, then re-running the server.
@kings_hound could i know some specs ? i keep a small list of issues and what hardware / software is used .. i can see you use windows 8 or 10 . you know what graphic card you have / driver ? would be nice to know for me if i see this issue again =)
Hi @Metachronism , I deleted the folder as you suggested and restarted. Game started up in alpha 3 version. Im guessing something got corrupetd?

ahh ok so issue was maybe corrupted server storage not a graphics issue .. well good to know .. btw your drivers are out of date =) might wanna update them .. i recommend using geforce experience but instead choosing express use the custom option and also select to remove old drivers since nvidia had recently some driver install issues. beside that you should not normally encounter any graphics issues with your laptop since its pretty decent spect for gaming =) anyway good to know that the issue might not have been a driver issue or something like that
