Game Improvements

  • I don't know if this has been mentioned before or not but here are a few things that bother me about the game in 5.6.1

    • all tables auto linking to all storage in the reach of the link. I would much rather having to click the tick box to link things where I want them to go. (keep in mind this only happens on your claimed land)

    • also at this point in time all stockpiles and storage chests have a link to each other. though there is no way that I know of to have it auto transfer things between them so I don't really see the need to have the tick box on them unless in the future you will have a minecraft type system like the hoppers that transfer things.

    • the fuel slots from a campfire for instance. say I'm making lumber if its linked and I haven't noticed that my carpentry table is still linked to a table needing fuel my lumber goes straight into there if I haven't unlinked them wasting the lumber that I was making for another project therefore making me go and get more logs to make lumber again

    • the text tab on carts needs to not come up first as I'm very doubtful that players will often want to change what's written on the back of their carts

if and when I think of more things I will add to this post but I think this is it for now

i love this game but some of these issues can be really annoying at times

  • Good list, I will look at these as we're polishing up for beta and alpha 6. Thank you.

  • Awesome it would be nice to see some of these issues fixed in alpha 6 though knowing that alpha 6 is just around the corner I can totally understand if it's not ready to be implemented by then
